I started when I was 14 and because of my 4b texture I really couldn't bun and go, but protective styles like individual braids with extension, bantu knot outs, cornrows, and braid outs saved me. The year that I transitioned flew by really fast. So good luck on your natural hair journey! I always love it when I see natural teen.( btw we're about the same age. If you decided to transition it will be hard, but it will be worth it in the end.if you haven't already just do some research on sites like curlynikki, moptopmaven and fotki.
